It seems to be a thunderbird problem as I had the same problems with the
mozilla.com version. I'm now with 1.5 and have no problems.
In my oppinion, this problem only occures if there is a huge amount of
incoming mails (ap. > 50).
Need the devs / maintainers more details / information?
@Matthew: Thunderbird got updated yesterday, but the changelog only
tells about dependencies.
