Public bug reported:

/var/log/installer/syslog ---Not Really a Bug, More Like User Error/Ignorance
/var/log/installer/partman (Unable to copy these files)
Prior to running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS from a USB drive, seeking drive space by
deleting the partitions of older OS's like Mint 15 and 16, I had deleted
several partitions on my disk drive. I messed something up as I could no longer
boot my multiple OS's normally from grub. (Though my original Windows 8.1's
partition was still usable(Windows was primary on this ACER E1 laptop) ; Win8.1
took several minutes to boot.)

When I tried to install Ubuntu 16..04 LTS on my disturbed hard drive,
the installer failed during installation. I don't know how to find or
attach the installer log files listed above,so I can't prove it, but I'm
pretty sure the installer failure was due to my prior ignorance about
the effects of deleting several partitions on the hard drive.
