Public bug reported:
There are numerous bugs in Ubuntu, which make the OS look unpolished. I
propose to add additional functionality to the bug tracking system to
make it more easy to identify these kind of bugs.
I'd either propose a community driven tagging or a voting system. I
would therefore tag certain bugs - like e.g. bug #68370 - to be
"embarrassing" or vote for a high "embarrassment" value.
A Canonical sponsored or community driven "OS polishing" team then could
easily track down these bugs and fix them.
This would make it more easy to smoothen the rough edges of Ubuntu and
make it appear more polished.
