I seem to have found a fix. There are no 386 packages installed as given by:
dpkg --get-selections | grep i386 nothing aptitude search ~ri386 nothing dpkg -l | grep :i386 nothing However, editing /var/lib/dpkg/arch and removing i386 (leaving just amd64) allows my upgrade to move forward without issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1588506 Title: 15.10 to 16.04 upgrade failure: "Could not calculate the upgrade" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1588506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
