This problem persists, but not for guest user or if I delete my old .config/banshee-1 Also, if I copy banshee.db to a new user's config, they experience the problem too. So I'm guessing there is a problem in reading my db after the upgrade.
The stderr output after I ask banshee to close is: [1 Debug 18:51:58.043] Service disposed (GnomeService) [1 Debug 18:51:58.045] Service disposed (SoundMenuService) [1 Debug 18:51:58.050] Service disposed (DaapService) [12 Warn 18:52:00.633] Caught an exception - System.Net.WebException: The request timed out (in `System') at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse (IAsyncResult asyncResult) <0x41e88f50 + 0x00197> in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse () <0x41e7be80 + 0x0005a> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Metadata.MetadataServiceJob.GetHttpStream (System.Uri uri, System.String[] ignoreMimeTypes) <0x41e70ae0 + 0x0014f> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Metadata.MetadataServiceJob.SaveHttpStream (System.Uri uri, System.String path, System.String[] ignoreMimeTypes) <0x41e6ff90 + 0x00033> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Metadata.MetadataServiceJob.SaveHttpStreamCover (System.Uri uri, System.String albumArtistId, System.String[] ignoreMimeTypes) <0x41e6fd90 + 0x00037> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Podcasting.PodcastImageFetchJob.Fetch () <0x41e6eea0 + 0x000bb> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Podcasting.PodcastImageFetchJob.Run () <0x41e6eaa0 + 0x0000f> in <filename unknown>:0 at Banshee.Kernel.Scheduler.ProcessJobThread () <0x41e67d10 + 0x0014a> in <filename unknown>:0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1587650 Title: banshee crashes 100% of the time when I try to close the window To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/1587650/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
