Public bug reported:

When NetworkManager crashes and then re-starts, a double WiFi icon
appears in the indicator bar. This can be easily reproduce by doing:

phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo kill -9 `pgrep Network`

This happened in:

system-image-cli -i
current build number: 66
device name: cooler
channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris-pd.en
last update: 2016-06-06 09:35:42
version version: 66
version ubuntu: 20160604
version device: 20160601.0
version custom: 20160511--40-9-vivid

although I have seen this in other devices. See also attached
screenshot.
