Like I say, it's rare enough that I can't be dogmattic, but I do feel
that a two-finger-stretch to enlarge the view (zoom) is probably the.
Culprit.. I notice that this seems not to actually zoom, so I try again,
unsuccessfully, then notice that I cannot scroll,. Change tabs, select
anything at all on the browser.

Usually by now the screen has half dimmed and tapping the screen does
not brighten it up.. But I can pull down the indicator blind so the
tablet has not completely frozen, only the browser.. ( the brightness
returns, of course).

It feels to me as though the browser has lost the input focus to some
invisible thing.. Anything that wrests it from hence, like the
indicators, the right edge swipe, or the left edge menu, allows the
focus to then be given back to the browser. I think.

Is it summat to do with the two finger gesture getting confused with
thecthree finger gesture?. I don't use the side stage thing because I
have not worked out how to get rid of it.

I am not as young as the developers, my finger action may be slightly
imprecise, and I am using BQ stick-on screen protector which definitely
impairs sensitivity.. I had to remove around a dozen instances of the
letter 'c' in place of spaces whilst creating this reply.
