Public bug reported:
compizconfig-settings-manager should be installed by default since it
provides functionality required by the gnome-appearance-properties. In
gnome-appearance-properties when you select the custom option in the
visual effects tab, the preferences button only appears when
compizconfig-settings-manager is installed. The custom preferences
option is virtually useless without compizconfig-settings-manager
available therefore compizconfig-settings-manager is required and should
be installed by default.
** Affects: compizconfig-settings-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
