Public bug reported: On Wily I installed smplayer, which installed mplayer2. Now after upgrade to Xenial, old mplayer2 is still installed and invoked from smplayer at least when playing DVDs: MPlayer2 2.0-728-g2c378c7-4build1 (C) 2000-2012 MPlayer Team
