Public bug reported: edubuntu-live-welcome depends on python-webkit which uses WebKit 1 which is no longer supported and will be removed from Debian and Ubuntu.
Now that Edubuntu is on hold[2], nothing in Ubuntu uses this app. The app is rather simple [3] so it wouldn't be that difficult for someone to port it forward to GTK3, GObject Introspection and WebKit2. On the other hand, if someone were to revive Edubuntu they might just use as easily use ubiquity-slideshow-edubuntu or ubuntu-mate-welcome or something else instead. $ reverse-depends edubuntu-live-welcome No reverse dependencies found $ seeded-in-ubuntu edubuntu-live-welcome edubuntu-live-welcome's binaries are not seeded.
