Ok I updated the BIOS to the newest version.
Output of sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-
release-date was:
A04

I still get the guide button flashing, so no improvement.
If I do what Robert Kiesel suggested, disconnecting the adapter and
connecting it again, it works as it should.
