So continuing to test the current Intel nightly build kernel (4.7.0-994-generic) i have not had my system freeze while watching videos in a chrome browser.
I will however mention that my system did freeze twice when not in a browser or watching a video, which goes along with the earlier comment that there may in fact be two bugs. Whether they are related or not i do not know. But for my testing methods i am only focusing on the on one i can reliably test for which is videos in a chrome browser.
