I tried it on Xenial, but now I get the following error whatever I do
with LDAP:
SASL/EXTERNAL authentication started
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Unknown authentication method (-6)
additional info: SASL(-4): no mechanism available:
But, apart from that, trusty is a "long term support" release, and
supposed to get security fixes until April 2019
