Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
When I found out that the orinoco_cs driver was reenabled in the new
kernel, I decided to give it a shot with my pcmcia Dell TrueMobile 1150
wireless card. Sure enough, when I plug it in to my pcmcia slot, it
freezes my whole computer the instant it is inserted. I tried doing a
"tail -f /var/log/messages", but there isn't even a chance for the first
message to print to screen before the system freezes. I am forced to
perform a hard reboot, because the system never regains activity, even
after removing the card. I also cannot switch to any VT's when it
freezes.
** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
