many diffrent kinds of stuff iso's music ect..
+ I used Gnomebaker, k3b (w/ check verify on), and nautilus -- all apps burn
discs perfectly on slow speeds and maximum. On completion, I put the CD back in
the drive to check if my files are there.
+ The drive tried to read but then it suddenly went quite. I double clicked the
CD drive and this came up,
+ "Unable to mount media. -_ There is probably no media in the drive. "
+ o_0 Before this event, I burned many CDs successfully. I made many CDs of
different types: ISOs, music etc..
- i went to check the cd's on Windows boot and it can read them on my friends
ubuntu 7. feisty can read them

- i ejected and put the cd back in to check
- my ubuntu thinks its an empty cd =/ i was like !!!!! Aaah :(
- did more then once ( all imation cd's )
- im buying sony today i hope this factor of problem isnt from the update i
have done , i have gotten weird updates lately which maybe did this weird thing
, with my understanding is when u put a DVD cd on a CD ROM drive , what h
appens is it cant mount it =) so i think my ubuntu cant read its own media ?!
- is this bug a possibility ?.
+ btw, I tried burning a CD-RW (Imation), and gutsy thought it was an empty CD
on more than one occasion.
+ I'm buying Sony discs today. I hope this problem isn't caused by recent
updates. My understanding is that Ubuntu can't mount a DVD in a CD ROM drive.
So I think my install of gutsy can't read its own media. Is this even bug a
possibility?
