Public bug reported:
unity7 uses application://x.desktop & to date snaps are using the same .desktop
name as the current .deb packages
So atm this cannot work cleanly if both versions are installed.
If this isn't being addressed in some fashion then it would be better to use a
unique .desktop name for snaps, at least if supporting use in unity7
