Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hotkey-setup

There are two buttons on the front of my Acer 1684 laptop: a Bluetooth
on/off toggle key, and a wifi toggle key. Before gutsy, both worked, now
only the wifi button works correctly.

The Bluetooth button generates keypress events, but nothing else
happens. If bluetooth is on, pressing the button will turn it off.

I can toggle the bluetooth bits myself by loading the "acerhk" kernel
module, and poking the values in /proc/drivers/acerhk/blueled, but I
think this should happen automatically when the button is pressed.

The bluetooth-key generates the following keycode (from the kernel log):
[75441.872000] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e058 <keycode>' to make it known.

Machine data (quotes added to show trailing spaces):
system-product-name: "Aspire 1680 "
system-manufacturer: "Acer"
system-version: "Rev 1 "

** Affects: hotkey-setup (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Summary changed:

- [gutsy] Bluetooth, WiFi kill switches don't work "easily"
+ [gutsy] Bluetooth switch only turns bluetooth off, not on

** Description changed:
