I have a problem connecting with VPN which may relate to this one. I have not reported it as a seperate bug - instead, I start by mentioning it here.
In Feisty, when I connected with VPN from the Gnome Networkmanager, the user/password dialog turned up with my saved values (the keyring dialog appears at the first VPN connection attempt). In Gutsy, the VPN user/password dialog is empty, even though the values are stored in the keyring. Something has changed for the worse since Feisty, as I do exactly the same procedure. Attaching the log from daemon.log, even though I don't think anything interesting is there. It logs a failed connection attempt, but the reason it fails is something else (I usually have to retry 3-4 times, when connecting to the vpn service provider). ** Attachment added: "daemon.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9851506/vpn_formempty.txt -- [gutsy] network-manager-openvpn connects only one time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/140805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
