This bug states that only me and one other person are affected by it. Google it: There are many posts on stackoverflow about it. Seriously hate to complain about what I consider to be the best OS after OSX, and the number 1 period if you don't want to get suckered into overpriced hardware that goes to great lengths to prevent anything else running on it, but not being able to install GIT is a show stopper for me.
