Public bug reported:
So ... this isnt completely triaged yet. Here is what I observe so far:
LibreOffice builds with full l10n sometimes gets stuck in ways they dont
when building on a plain Ubuntu 16.04.
The stuck state is as follows:
- make doesnt create new jobs
- make has no child processes
It appears that make doesnt notice jobs have finished and that it should
start new jobs. I assume this is hitting LibreOffice harder than other
builds as we have > 100.000 targets even without l10n -- and probably a
few 100.000s more with l10n.
** Affects: snapcraft (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Incomplete
** Summary changed:
- death of child processes go unnoticed in snapcrafts env sometimes
+ death of child processes go unnoticed in snapcrafts env sometimes?
** Changed in: snapcraft (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
