Thanks for reporting.
Now that bug 1401783 has been resolved, I am no longer able to trigger
this error on Ubuntu 16.04. I therefore believe this issue can be marked
Fix Resolved. Based on the other bug there doesn't seem to be an SRU
planned for older releases, but one of the comments mentions a
workaround (I haven't tested this myself).
