Debugged and searched with that extra info - found the (very likely) cause and 
fix:

It is essentially a race around locking which is why at the same time it can:
- occur often in the field
- never showed up in testing

We need to merge the newest version from Debian to fix in Yakkety - yet
we have quite a few dependencies that we wanted to put into the next
merge so this needs some evaluation.

For Xenial we need to discuss if we can take the stable branch or if we
have to backport juts the fix (complex and a lot of dependencies)
