Binary package hint: xserver-xgl
When starting Xgl using kernel 2.6.20-12-generic, occasionally the
session incorrectly renders almost everything (see attached screenshot).
When using 2.6.20-16-generic, the session always renders incorrectly.
The Xgl session is started with:
Xgl :1 -fullscreen -ac -accel xv:pbuffer -accel glx:pbuffer &
DISPLAY=:1
cookie="$(xauth -i nextract - :0 | cut -d ' ' -f 9)"
xauth -i add :1 . "$cookie"
exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session
uname -a:
Linux james-laptop 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Sun Sep 23 18:31:23 UTC 2007 x86_64
