Public bug reported:
The latest gutsy version of System->Preferences->Screen Resolution makes
the cursor invisible, resulting in an impossible to use desktop.
If you change the screen resolution ( my default is 2048x1536) through
this tool, click apply and then select revert from the dialog when the
new resolution comes up, the cursor vanishes, or at least is
microscopically small. It is then impossible to know where the cursor
is, or what you are clicking on. The state persists even if you
subsequently close the app.
