Seems like /etc/mysql/my.cnf.fallback was missing. Set a symlink to /etc/mysql/mysql.cnf but now update stands here since a long time: "Checking if update is needed. This installation of MySQL is already upgraded to 5.7.12, use --force if you still need to run mysql_upgrade"
Will leave the shell open for some hours to see, if it finishes in finite time... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1596815 Title: package mysql-common 5.7.12-0ubuntu1.1 failed to install/upgrade: Unterprozess installiertes post-installation-Skript gab den Fehlerwert 2 zurück To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1596815/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
