The good news is that I still have the disk with the Ubuntu 16.04 install where I did my original testing, so I plugged it in and booted it. I am now running tests with exactly the same environment I previously used.
The bad news is that I still see substantial timing differences between MySQL 5.7 and Postgres 9.5. Even more concerning is that there seem to be a number of Bacula regression failures with MySQL 5.7. I am working on this and will get back to you with some more detailed information on MySQL 5.7 timing and test failures, both of which I want to examine in some detail before reporting back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1592749 Title: MySQL 5.7 slow with Bacula 7.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1592749/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
