WOuld be nice to have, however vpc.c seems to have changed quite a bit
already and the patch does not apply cleanly. If someone can backport
the patch I will put it up for sru testing.
I'm going to mark this bug a duplicate of 1490611 and mark that one as
affecting the Ubuntu xenial package.

Using qemu >=2.2.1 to convert raw->VHD (fixed) adds extra padding to the
result file, which Microsoft Azure rejects as invalid
