Using snapd 2.0.9 on xenial, if you install a .desktop that claims
mimetypes it's copied in /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications but
"update-desktop-database" isn't used which means the directory doesn't
get an index and the applications are not used to open files in
nautilus...
