+ [Impact] + + * php-dba (a PHP extension) is not available to install from the + repository. + + * Users upgrading from prior versions of Ubuntu expect this package to + exists for a smooth upgrade experience. + + * This is fixed by backporting a simple typo change in the Debian + packaging. + + [Test Case] + + * Attempt to install php-dba / php7.0-dba, if they are present in the + archive, this bug has been fixed. + + [Regression Potential] + + * As this is a new package in Xenial, the risk of regression is low to + none. + I noticed that there was dropped support for dba extension (and several others) in the build of PHP7.0 that is being shipped with 16.04. It looks like it was being compiled with this extension enabled during initial release why was this removed and is there some other package that can be installed to support it? My question is specific to the php-7.0-cli package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1595215 Title: php7.0 dba extension missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php7.0/+bug/1595215/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
