Public bug reported:

Created a LiveCD USB key 14.04.4.

Installating Ubuntu on new Seagate hybrid hard drive 2TB with 8GB SSD.

First did a manual partitioning and cloned partitions contents from previous HD
(all my previous HD has been correctly copied - copy -a / and /home after
manual mount).
-> Failed. Never reboot, even after many grub-install, os-prober, grub-update,
grub-install, chroot, boot-diag and boot-info.

Try now a fresh installation on this disk, destroying all previous
copied data -> crash with this frash key (amd64).
