Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I found a corresponding bug report in Debian, and it looks like this issue was resolved upstream and then fixed when a newer version was packaged.
I see that plpfuse is included in 64bit packages in version 1.0.13-0.2 which is available on Ubuntu 15.04 and later. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the instructions for "Requesting a Backport" at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports#Requesting_a_Backport. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #593791 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=593791 ** Also affects: plptools (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=593791 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: plptools (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511075 Title: plpfuse is disabled in 64bit, but works well when built from source To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plptools/+bug/1511075/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
