Public bug reported:
On amd64, linking liblz4.a from package liblz4-dev_0.0~r131-2ubuntu2 to a
shared object fails, because the archive does not contain relocatable code.
Thus, it is not possible to build a library that uses statically linked liblz4.
Adding -fPIC to CPPFLAGS solves the problem.
