Public bug reported:

there is a duplicate search box and icons on the UI
Forcing it to repaint fixed it (dragged to sidestage and back)
I just start the app and restore multiple existing tabs in staged mode,
happened twice in a row.

It acts as though the app doesn't know its correct window width when it
opens the tabs.
