You have been subscribed to a public bug: Please implement some sort of repeated automated check of data on http ://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/releases/ (and ideally daily too).
Run the tests at the end of a publish, and/or randomly throughout the day, and report failure very loudly. 2 checks that I'm aware that can easily be done (and have broken in the past) are: simplestreams: ./tools/hook-check-downloads http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/releases/ This will show 'BAD_URL' for anything that doesnt exist. it essentially stats all urls. juju: the 'validate-images' command was added. I'm not exactly sure of its syntax, but it can be run to assert that its view of the world is fine. ** Affects: cloud-images Importance: Undecided Assignee: Dan Watkins (daniel-thewatkins) Status: Fix Released ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Medium Status: Won't Fix ** Tags: bot-comment cloud-images cloud-images-build -- check and alarm on broken simplestreams data on cloud-images.ubuntu.com https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218566 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
