Public bug reported:
I recently installed Ubuntu 16.04 and found the following bug: if I put my
computer to sleep with
sudo pm-suspend
then when then the computer wakes up, the desktop background picture
selected with "Settings/Background" does not display correctly, what I
see instead is a gray noise on the desktop. I then have to select
Settings/Background/Picutres" again to select the desktop picture.
A similar bug occurs when Lock Screen activates, instead of the correct
selected screen picture appearing, I again get a gray noise.
This worked fine on Ubuntu 14.04 with the same two images so I conclude
it is a bug in 16.04.
