Public bug reported:
I'm using up to date Gutsy.
I'm experiencing random freeze (different problem, will report separately). I
have the following line in /etc/fstab:
ares:/home /home nfs4 defaults,rsize=32768,wsize=32768 0 0
Normally this works fine; it mounts at boot, and I have a home
directory. However, after a freeze and hard reboot, it doesn't get
mounted. If I then reboot cleanly, it gets mounted. This appears to be
deterministic.
