Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
To fix your problem, please uninstall all openjdk-9-* packages, install
the default-jdk package, and then continue with android-studio
installation.
A bug + fix has been opened against android-studio at
https://github.com/PaoloRotolo/android-studio/pull/29 but there isn't
much more I can do here as that is Paolo Rotolo's individual PPA. For
further information on the bug please use and subscribe to
aforementioned android-studio pull request.
Meanwhile I will be closing this as a duplicate of bug #1550950.
