Hi again, @brad-figg: Since whole computer is totally frozen (even SysReq keys do not work), I indeed cannot run apport.
@sbeattie: since the problem resides in the kernel, and the computer is totally frozen, I assumed that this was a security issue, as an attacker could locally/remotely freeze the computer... But if you say it is not, I'll trust you... FYI, I removed the xscreensaver-gl* and xscreensaver-data-extra and the problem disappeared.
