Got the same problem with Ubuntu 16.04 with 4.4.0-28 kernel (64bit).

Tried to copy about 60GB, stuck after a few minutes:

Tried it with 4.7.0-rc7, same problem. 

Someone tried it with smaller buffers or less memory ?
