Public bug reported: I use a monitor resolution of 1792 x 1344. I therefore upped my system font/size to UbuntuMedium 14 (= 14 points?).
Most apps seem to notice this font/size and use it, but SMPlayer apparently does not. [LibreOffice also did not and looked awful (to me, at least), until I installed some sort of GTK-related package, and now it looks snazzy] If you look at one of the screenshots attached to my just-reported Bug #1604224, you can see just how tiny the menu seems, compared to the size of the icons/buttons, etc. (By the way - the new icons/buttons introduced recently (version ~15?) look really nice!) All relevent system/pkg. info is exactly as found in Bug #1604224. [If it is too much of a pain to refer to another bug, I can copy the relevant info and attach one of the same screenshots here into an additional comment. Just let me know.] -Scott ** Affects: smplayer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1604227 Title: Menu font size too small - not utilizing system font To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/smplayer/+bug/1604227/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
