Public bug reported:

current build number: 149
device name: frieza
channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris-pd.en
last update: 2016-07-21 16:11:24
version version: 149
version ubuntu: 20160721
version device: 20160622.0
version custom: 20160712--42-19-vivid

Steps to reproduce

1) Whilst in tablet mode open LibreOffice Writer

2) Using the system menu switch to desktop mode

3) Switch back to tablet mode

Expected result

Should switch back to tablet mode with LibreOffice Writer still running

Actual result

Displays a modal dialog saying:

 "Apps may have unsaved data:

  LibreOffice Writer

Re-dock, save your work and close these apps to continue.

Or force close now (unsaved data will be lost)."

This dialog doesn't make much sense as the device was never docked and
doesn't provide any mechanism by which the user can save their data.
Since X11 apps work fine in tablet mode it doesn't seem to make much
sense to force the user to close them.
