My wording is because I don't work on Compiz/Unity any more. "You need to" refers to someone else, anyone else :)
Also, I just noticed this bug was marked Fix Released four years ago. I understand people continue to have trouble and it's not really fixed for some cases, so the correct thing to do is to open a new bug. Because "Fix Released" bugs don't show up in searches and generally should not be reopened if they've been closed this long, even if closed in error.
