Hello Sergio, or anyone else affected, Accepted snapd-xdg-open into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd-xdg- open/0.0.0~16.04 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
