Public bug reported: Ubuntu 16.10 will include GTK 3.20 but yuyo-gtk-theme is not usable with GTK 3.20.
As has been discussed in detail elsewhere, GTK 3.20 includes a major rewrite of the theming code and all GTK3 themes have to be re-worked for it. There are several GTK 3.20 compatible themes now: - Arc - Breeze (from KDE) - MATE Themes - Paper - Numix - Vertex - and Ubuntu's own Ambiance and Radiance (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/+archive/ubuntu/gtk320) Also, the Homepage points to https://github.com/snwh/yuyo-gtk-theme but that URL doesn't work any more (which I believe is a hint that the original author doesn't intend to maintain it any more). I did find a copy of the source code at https://github.com/Acidburn0zzz/yuyo-gtk-theme ** Affects: yuyo-gtk-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Tags: gtk320 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1606091 Title: yuyo doesn't support GTK 3.20 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yuyo-gtk-theme/+bug/1606091/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
