Hi,
Cleaning up old issues - to set a valid fqdn you can just use hostname:
"sudo hostname you.domain.com" will set the files accordingly as needed.
Then the subsequent (re)start of amavis will work.
That said setting the bug to invalid as the init script even reports directly
which part of the config is missing.
