Public bug reported: There is an *unnecessary* conflict between the bison and bison++ packages. I need to have both packages installed, not so much because I need both, but some other packages I do need are dependent on bison and I *need* bison++ as well. Under CentOS 6, the bison++ 1.21.8 package I built is happy to be installed alongside the stock CentOS 6 bison 2.4.1 package.
I have already downloaded the bison++ sources and have built a fixed version that installs cleanly alongside the stock Ubuntu bison package. The package is available here: ftp://ftp.deepsoft.com/pub/deepwoods/Other/bison++Ubuntu/ OR http://files.deepsoft.com/Other/bison++Ubuntu/ This is under Ubuntu 14.04.4. ** Affects: bison++ (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bison bison++ packaging -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1607408 Title: Unecessary package conflict between bison and bison++ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bison++/+bug/1607408/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
