Public bug reported:
My 'DViCO FusionHDTV5 USB Gold' tuner used to work fine under 14.04
using dvb-usb-bluebird-01.fw which was part of linux-firmware-nonfree.
That package no longer exists in 16.04 but dvb-usb is still looking for
dvb-usb-bluebird-01.fw:
[1099531.611529] dvb-usb: found a 'DViCO FusionHDTV5 USB Gold' in cold state,
will try to load a firmware
[1099531.611577] usb 1-2: Direct firmware load for dvb-usb-bluebird-01.fw
failed with error -2
[1099531.611581] dvb-usb: did not find the firmware file.
(dvb-usb-bluebird-01.fw) Please see linux/Documentation/dvb/ for more details
on firmware-problems. (-2)
[1099531.611587] dvb_usb_cxusb: probe of 1-2:1.0 failed with error -22
[1099531.611670] usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_cxusb
I tried adding dvb-usb-bluebird-01.fw to /lib/firmware but that crashes
the kernel as soon as the usb device is detected. Have not debugged
this further but the system stops listening to mouse, keyboard, ssh
attempts and anything else short of the power button. No messages in
the log.
