Still not fixed in 16.04. On a fresh boot I get an autoconfigured IPv6 address despite net.ipv6.conf.all.autoconf being set to 0 in sysctl.conf.
(Only solution for me seems to be manually setting the interface to static in /etc/network/interfaces - but I have to do this on every single VM I create, which is sort of annoying) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/997605 Title: Disabling IPv6 autoconfiguration in sysctl.conf doesn't affect boot process To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/997605/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
