manitou, as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack the
vivid enablement stack you are using is EOL as of August 2016. Hence,
you would want to at least upgrade to a supported enablement stack
(xenial), and then advise if this is still reproducible.
