Auto bug reporting led me here.
Updated to Kernel 4.2.0-42 from 0-36 and everything graphics related
went to #@&*. Constant spam of 'an error occurred' and attempting
anything with the package manager gets a lot more requests to submit bug
reports.
The core cause seems to be something related to nvidia drivers and that
kernel update although I am not sure on this. I don't know how they
might be related (perhaps the first graphics crash caused an
interruption to the package manager doing something important?)
Using nvidia drivers 352-63 on a GTX 750Ti. I managed to get unity to
run by cleaning out all my configs and switching back to the older
kernel, but apt seems to be irrevocably broken.
